Monday–Bentonville came to FHS to play a double header and left town with an 0-2 record as the Lady Cards swept the games, 6-5 and 9-7.  Both were very competitive games between two good teams and the Lady Cards were excited to come out with the sweep and boost their record to 7-2.

Game One was a back and forth affair as the Lady Cards scored 2 in the 6th to tie the game at 5. In the top of the 7th, Bentonville loaded the bases with none out against starter Katy Chavis, who pitched beautifully for 6 innings. Into the game in relief came Madison Barnes, who escaped the jam allowing no runs and set the stage for Jordan Stevens to finish off the Lady Tigers.  Stevens opened the bottom of the 7th with a double to the right-center field wall, then went to third and scored on two wild pitches.

Game Two-The Lady Cards scored early and often, opening up a 6-1 lead after two innings.  Teighlor Williams socked her first Home Run in the second inning after doubling to right field in the first.   Starter Madison Barnes (4-1) won her second game of the day and 4th of the season and Katy Chavis (3-1) recorded her second save by closing down a scoring threat in the 6th and another one in the 7th.

The Farmington-Fayetteville Tournament was a one-day, rain-shortened affair on the Saturday before Spring Break.  The Lady Cards played two games as they defeated Springdale 2-1 and lost to Greenbrier 7-2.  In the Springdale game, Katy Chavis picked up her 4th victory and Kala Crisp led the offensive attack, going 2-3 with a double.  Michaela Larabee and Payton Wiedner (1-2, 2B, BB) picked up the RBIs.  In the second game, Larabee was 2-2 with a walk and a run scored.  Crisp and Kelsie Stewart (1-2, 2B) also collected hits, while Payton Wiedner (1-2, HR, RBI) hit her first varsity career Home Run.

Over Spring Break, the Lady Cardinals hosted Horatio, who was making a spring break trip to NWA.  The Lady Cards defeated the guests, 13-2, in a 5-inning run-rule game.  Madison Barnes picked up her 5th win, and the offense put the game away with a 7-run 4th inning.  Michaela Larabee (3-4, 2 R, SB), Teighlor Williams (2-4, 2R, SB), Kala Crisp (2-4, 2 R, SB), Samantha Combs (2-3, 2B, R, 2 RBI), Payton Wiedner (1-3, 2B, R, SB), and Jordan Stevens (1-2, 2B, 2 R, BB, SAC, 3 RBI) led the attack. Katy Chavis and Andi Daniel also had hits and Chavis closed out the game in the circle.
